Without a doubt testimonial casting requires a very specialized expertise. Our far-ranging experience has paved the way for a remarkably effective process that avoids potential pitfalls and yields the kind of compelling testimony that sets a great testimonial spot apart.

We’re adept at working within FTC guidelines, navigating complicated protocols, finding even those “needle in a haystack” participants, and adhering to tight deadlines and budgets.

PATIENTS & DOCTOR: RECRUITING & INTERVIEWING

Frankly, the world of pharmaceutical advertising requires its own recruiting and interviewing skill set. Dealing with patients that suffer from a serious health crisis demands a unique level of compassion, tact and mutual trust.

Strickman-Ripps takes these kinds of assignments very seriously. And the results speak for themselves.

In 20+ years, we have elicited compelling stories and insights from people suffering from Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Asthma, Heart Disease, Cancer and Depression to name just a few.

REAL PEOPLE

Trust us–if they exist, we’ll find them!

We’ll comb the streets of any city, activate our contacts around the globe and track down every lead online and off to find the right faces for your spot.

We’ve video-interviewed our way across the U.S. more times than we can count and been called upon to lead international projects in Europe and Asia. That’s because our team of street-smart researchers and casting directors always get results with their resourcefulness, charm and chutzpah!

SAG/NON-UNION CASTING

Tired of seeing the same faces on TV? Wish you could find professional actors who behave like real people?

Well, look no further. Our SAG department specializes in finding fresh, interesting and even quirky talent. Which probably explains why we’ve been chosen to cast for hundreds of on-camera commercials, voice-overs, promos and industrials.

For non-union talent, our extensive network of resources and connections at theater companies and acting/dance classes is just a phone call away—ensuring a stellar performance each and every time.

RESEARCH

As a trusted research partner for both agencies and companies, Strickman-Ripps is known for doing two things extremely well– finding the right people and getting them to share their candid and compelling stories.

To initiate a research project with us, we first need to understand your research objectives. Then we identify the best method to achieve your goals.

Here are the most frequently used interviewing techniques we can customize to fit your project needs.

PERSONAL IN-DEPTH INTERVIEWS

We believe that conducting a successful interview is more of an art form than a science.

Over the years Strickman-Ripps has honed this particular skill with thousands of interviews, held in-person, via Skype or on the telephone.

Every participant is identified and screened before their interview. All of the information is captured and then shared with our clients online or in real time.

MAN ON THE STREET: RECRUITING & INTERVIEWING

Our “Man on the Street” interviews allow us to recruit and video interviewees all in one step, saving you time and money.

This highly interactive method also lets us tap into a group of relevant and interesting people who are otherwise unable to participate in research.

ETHNOGRAPHIES: AT HOME INTERVIEWS

We’re often invited into private homes and work places for research purposes. Our team has even gone shopping with consumers on research assignments.

By interacting with consumers on their turf, we demonstrate flexibility and a level of interest that encourages people to relax and open up quickly.

MODERATING SERVICES

Our seasoned moderators have conducted thousands of group, one-on-one, and telephone interviews. Every session is audio or videotaped and when necessary, transcribed.

We’ll go to great lengths to create a comfortable environment—even staging living rooms or renting furnished apartments—to make our interviewees feel they are a valued part of a real conversation and not just a test subject.

After the interview process is completed, we provide in-depth reports and debriefings to both creative and planning teams.
